General information:

1. The issuing of a visa is at the sole discretion of the Indian Consulate General. IGCS does not guarantee the applicant a visa.

2. The decision of the Indian Consulate General is not subject to judicial review by a German court. IGCS only checks the completeness of the application. As soon as the submitted documents are complete, they will be forwarded by us to the Indian Consulate General on the same or the following day.

3. If the respective applications are incomplete, further processing can not take place. We will then inform you promptly about the missing documents. Please note that we strongly advise against booking a flight or flight before issuing a visa. As soon as we receive your request from the Indian Consulate General, we will send you back your documents immediately or personally hand them over to you during our opening hours.

4. Express visas are issued only in case of medical emergencies or fatalities, which must be evidenced by a medical letter. The statement: “I have booked a flight for lunch today and now need a visa.” is not a sufficient reason for an express visa.
